Kurkure Alu bhaja(Crispy Potato fry)

Ingredients:

  1. Potato - 1 medium
  2. Curry leaves - 8-10
  3. Peanuts - 1 handful
  4. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  5. Oil for deep frying - 150 gm

Steps:


  1. Wash the potatoes and peel the skin.
  2. Grate the potato and wash in cold water 4-5 times.
  3. Strain the excess water. Now soak it with a muslin cloth.
  4. Spread it in a big plate and rest it for 30 minutes.
  5. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan/kadahi. Fry the peanuts + curry leaves and keep it in a bowl.
  6. Add more oil (150gm) in the same pan and heat it in medium high flame.
  7. Now pour the grated potatoes in oil and fry it for 3-4 minutes.
  8. Pour it in a bowl, mix it with fried peanut + curry leaves,sprinkle little bit of salt and serve it with plain daal,rice.
