Ingredients:
- Potato - 1 medium
- Curry leaves - 8-10
- Peanuts - 1 handful
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Oil for deep frying - 150 gm
Steps:
- Wash the potatoes and peel the skin.
- Grate the potato and wash in cold water 4-5 times.
- Strain the excess water. Now soak it with a muslin cloth.
- Spread it in a big plate and rest it for 30 minutes.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan/kadahi. Fry the peanuts + curry leaves and keep it in a bowl.
- Add more oil (150gm) in the same pan and heat it in medium high flame.
- Now pour the grated potatoes in oil and fry it for 3-4 minutes.
- Pour it in a bowl, mix it with fried peanut + curry leaves,sprinkle little bit of salt and serve it with plain daal,rice.
