Apple Mango Panna-Cotta (Italian Dessert)

Apple Mango Panna-Cotta

Ingredients :

  1. Mango  - 2 large 
  2. Red Apple juice - 1.5 cup
  3. Cream - 1.5 cup
  4. Whole milk - 1 cup
  5. Sugar - as per taste
  6. Unflavored gelatin powder - 2 pack (7gm pouch)


Steps:

      1. Soak gelatin  powder(1pouch - 7gm) in warm water for 5-7 minutes. 
      2.  In a pan pour red apple juice and boil for 5-8 minutes. switch off the flame and add gelatin mixture in it and stir.
      3. If you want to give the apple juice a slanting effect, place the glasses in a muffin tray with a slight slant. Make sure they balance well. Once they are balanced with a slight slant, pour the apple juice mixture into the glasses, to set in refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
     4.Rinse, peel and chop the mangoes and make a smooth puree with using blender.
     5.Mix cream, milk and sugar in a pan and keep it on the stove top.keep on stirring at intervals while the cream mixture comes to a gentle boil. the sugar should also dissolve completely.
     6. Soak the gelatin(another pouch-7gm) powder in warm water for 5-7 minutes.
     7. Switch off the flame and add soaked gelatin in it and stir very well.
     8. Wait few minutes till the panna cotta mixture becomes less hot. Add mango puree and mix very well.
     9. Pour the mango panna cotta mixture on the top of the apple jello. Cover the serving glass/bowl with plastic wrap,place the glass/bowls in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours till the panna cotta is set. 

   10. serve it cold.
