Methi Chicken:

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken With Bone - 500 gm
  2. Onion Sliced - 1 big
  3. Tomato - 1 medium
  4. Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  5. Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
  6. Curd - 5 tbsp full
  7. Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tbsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  9. Red Chili powder - 1/2 tbsp
  10. Kashmiri chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
  11. Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
  12. Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
  13. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
  14. Kasuri Methi - 1 n half tbsp
  15. salt - as per taste
  16. White/Mustard oil for cooking

Steps:

  1. Wash the chicken and put in a bowl.Then marinate it with curd+turmeric powder+red chill powder+kashmiri chill powder+cumin powder+coriander powder+garam masala powder+salt+oil(1 tbsp) and rest it for at list 1 hour.
  2. In a pan heat some oil then put fenugreek seeds after few seconds add sliced onion(add a pint of salt) and stir.When the onion will be light brown in color add garlic past and stir it until brown.
  3. Now add the marinated chicken and stir.After 15 minutes add chopped tomatoes .when the tomato will be smashed add kasuri methi + ginger paste and put the lid.Cook like this in low flame for 20 minutes.
  4. After that it will be ready,serve it with roti/naan/paratha/jeera rice.
