Kulcha
Ingredients :
- All purpose flour/ Maida -2 cups and 1/2 cup for rolling
- Baking powder - 1/2 tbsp
- Baking soda -1/2 tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 tbsp
- Suger - 1/2 tbsp
- Curd - 3 tbsp
- Milk - 4 tbsp
- *Luke warm water - optional
- White Oil- 100 gm
- Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 /2 cup
- Kalonji / kalajeera - 2 tbsp
- Butter(optional) - 2 tbsp
Steps :
- Mix all purpose flour/ Maida + baking powder +baking soda +salt +sugar +white oil (2 tbsp) + curd+milk and make a soft dough.*you can add luke warm water if you need for making dough.Rest it for 4-5 hours.
- Now separate balls from the dough and roll it in round shape with some all purpose flour.
- Heat a pan put few drops of oil after heating add the rolled kulcha and fry one side for 1 minute(On the top brush water and place some chopped Coriander leaves +few Kalonji seeds/ kalajeera)now turn the other side and just keep it for 1 minute more.
- Now it's ready, brush little bit of butter(optional)serve it with chole/chicken curry /mutton curry/any kind of gravy or curry you want.
