Koraisutir(Peas) Kachori
Ingredients:
- Green peas - 1cup
- Cumin swwds/Jerra - 1 tsp
- Whole Coriander/Dhania - 1tsp
- Whole red chili /green chii - 2
- Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - As per taste
- Salt - As per taste
- Asafetida/hing - 1/4 tsp
- White Flour/Maida - 2 cup
- White oil - 200 gm
- Luke warm water - as per needed for making dough
Steps:
- Put in a blender green peas + green chili + little water and make a fine pest.
- In a frying pan dry roast cumin(jeera) + coriander(dhania) + red chili. Let it cool and make a fine powder.
- In a pan, add 2 tbsp of white oil. After heating pour the green paste and stir. Add dry roast powder + salt + sugar + asafetida and cook it till the excess water dries . Keep it aside.
- Now make a dough with white flour/maida + salt + oil (2tbsp). Make small ping-pong sized balls from it.
- Now start rolling. Make a small circle.
- Make a small ball out of the stuffing and put in the center of the circle.Bunch up all sides and make a round ball with using hand.
- Now roll it like a poori/luchi using little bit of oil.
- Heat enough oil in a kadahi/tawa. After heating oil fry it till light brown.
- Serve it with alur dom/cholar(chana) daal/any type of gravy/pickle.
