Koraisutir(Peas) Kachori 



Ingredients:

  1. Green peas - 1cup
  2. Cumin swwds/Jerra - 1 tsp
  3. Whole Coriander/Dhania - 1tsp
  4. Whole red chili /green chii - 2
  5. Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  6. Sugar - As per taste
  7. Salt - As per taste
  8. Asafetida/hing - 1/4 tsp
  9. White Flour/Maida - 2 cup
  10. White oil - 200 gm
  11. Luke warm water - as per needed for making dough 



Steps:


  1. Put in a blender green peas + green chili + little water and make a fine pest.
  2. In a frying pan dry roast cumin(jeera) + coriander(dhania) + red chili. Let it cool and make a fine powder.
  3. In a pan, add 2 tbsp of white oil. After heating pour the green paste and stir. Add dry roast powder + salt + sugar + asafetida  and cook it till the excess water dries . Keep it aside.
  4. Now make a dough with white flour/maida + salt + oil (2tbsp). Make small ping-pong sized balls from it.
  5. Now start rolling. Make a small circle.
  6. Make a small ball out of the stuffing and put in the center of the circle.Bunch up all sides and make a round ball with using hand.
  7. Now roll it like a poori/luchi using little bit of oil.
  8. Heat enough oil in a kadahi/tawa. After heating oil fry it till light brown.
  9. Serve it with alur dom/cholar(chana) daal/any type of gravy/pickle.
