Shami Kebab




40 minutes




          Ingredients:
     
         1) Boneless mutton cubes -  500gm
         2) Bengal Gram/Chane daal -1/2 cup
         3) Fine chopped onion - 2 medium
         4) Ginger Garlic paste - 1tbsp
         5) Garam masala pwder - 1/2 tbsp
         6) Kashmiri red chili powder - as per taste
         7) Cumin powder - 1/2 tbsp
         8) Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
         9) Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
       10)  Chopped Coriander leaves - 1 cup
       11) Egg - 1
       12) Salt to taste
       13) White oil for frying and cooking
  
        
       Steps:
     
        1) Wash the mutton cubes properly and marinate with chopped onion+ginger garlic paste+ garam masala powder+kashmiri red chili powder+cumin powder+coriander powder+turmeric powder. Keep in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
      3) In other side soak bengal gram/chana daal for few hours.and grind it in a fine paste.
      2) Now in a pan put some oil add this marinated mixture and cook it for 30 minutes.now add that bengal gram/chana daal paste into it and cook it for another 15 minutes add salt n chopped coriander and mix it well.Off the gas and keep aside to coo
     3) Now put the cooked meat in a grinder and grind it.
     4) Mix egg in it and  make a shape like this and shallow fry the both side.
     5) Serve it with chutney.



*****(You can make this shami kebab with any kind of meat you prefer like chicken(thigh),lamb,beef with same recipe)
