Lachha Paratha/Multi-layered Indian flat bread
Ingredients:
1) All porpose flour/Maida/whole wheat flour
2) Salt
3) Oil/Ghee
Steps:
1) In a bowl mix all porpose flour/Maida/whole wheat flour and salt.Then heat some oil and mix it very well and make a dough with light warm water.Rest it for 20-30 minutes.
2) Divide the dough into equal sized dough balls.
3) Take a ball and roll it into 6 to 7 inches diameter thin disc. sprinkle flour while rolling.apply ghee or oil liberally on the paratha disc.
4) Sprinkle some all porpose flour/Maida/wholw wheat flour on top.
5) From the edge start folding like a chinese fan/paper fan.Do this till you come to the end.
6) Roll the pleated dough in a tight cirlce. join the edges.
7) Dust some flour and now start rolling again.
8) Heat the tawa/pan. place the paratha on the hot tawa.
9) Turn the lachha paratha when one side is partly cooked.Apply oil/ghee on this side.Now turn again and apply ghee on the other side.
10) Serve it with any kind of curry you want.
