Bengali Mutton Curry


Ingredients:

1) Mutton 1 kg
2) Onion 2 large
3) Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
4) Turmeric powder
5) Red chili powder as per taste
6) Cumin powder 1 tea spoon
7) Coriander powder 1 tea spoon
8) Garam Masala powder 1 tea spoon
9) Nutmeg powder half a tea spoon
10) Whole Garam Masala 1tbsp
11) Mace 1 whole
12) Curd 50 gm
13) Mustard oil 6 tbsp
14) Salt as per taste
15) Chopped tomato 1 medium 


Steps:
1) Wash the mutton and marinate with onion paste+ginger garlic paste+turmeric powder+red chilli powder+cumin powder+coriander powder+garam masala powder+nutmeg powder+curd+salt+2 tbsp mustard oil, and keep it in refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours.
2) In a heavy bottom pan/kadahi put some musterd oil and add whole garam masala and mace.After getting a nice smell add marinated mutton and cook it for 20 minutes.Now add chopped tomatoes and stir it until getting redish brown.
3) In a other side boil 500ml water in a pressure cooker.add half cooked mutton add salt and wait for 4-5 whistle.
4) Then it will be ready to serve.Serve it with PlainRice/Roti/Tandoori/Pulav/Paratha/ Naan/Puri.
