Ingredients:
1) 1 big potato
2) Chopped onion half (medium)
3) Garlic chopped 4
4) Ginger paste 1/2 tbsp
5) Green Chilies 4
6) Turmeric powder 1tea spoon
7) Cumin Powder 1/2 tea spoon
8) Red chilli powder 1/2 tea spoon
9) Salt as per taste
10) Gram flour 4tbsp
11) Mustard oil 2 tbsp for making alu patties
12) White oil 200 gm for frying
Steps:
1) Boil the potatoes, peel the skin and mash them.
2) Heat 2tbsp musterd oil in a frying pan or kadahi .
3) Add all chopped onion+chopped garlic+ginger paste+green chilies.Satue till the onion is golden brown.
4) Now add the mashed potato and put red chili powder+turmeric powder+cumin powder+salt and mix the masala with the potatoes .
5) The masala is ready let this cool.
6) Now make thick batter with gram flour and little water and a pinch of turmeric powder.
7) Heat oil in a frying pan/kadahi.
8) Take a little amount (whatever size and shape you want) of alu masala dip the patties in the batter and fry till both sides are golden brown.
9) Now sprinkle some black salt andserve it with masala tea.
